Introducing our meticulously handcrafted metal tile, engraved with the timeless 'Fleur De Lis' pattern, a symbol that holds deep historical significance and charm. Crafted with utmost precision and dedication, this tile is available in three premium metals: luminous copper, sleek stainless steel, and classic brass, each exuding its distinct charm and elegance.
Each tile undergoes a meticulous process to highlight the beauty of its design. Firstly, the fleur de lis pattern is hand-engraved onto the metal, showing the artisan's keen attention to detail. The engraved pattern is then treated with a patina, an agent that accelerates the natural aging process of metals. This patina not only accentuates the design but also imparts an antique finish to the tile, making every piece unique and unrepeatable.
To ensure longevity and to retain its luster, the tile is finally coated with a special wax. This not only protects its surface from natural wear and tear but also makes it resistant to moisture and other external factors, making it suitable for various settings from kitchens and bathrooms to outdoor installations.
**History & Meaning of the Fleur De Lis:**
The fleur de lis, translated from French as 'lily flower', is a stylized emblem that has been used for centuries across various cultures and dynasties. Originating from the river lilies in France, this symbol became synonymous with French royalty, representing purity, light, and life. As its prominence grew, so did its interpretations. Some saw it as a representation of the Holy Trinity due to its three-petal design, making it a prominent symbol in religious artworks and architecture.
Beyond France, the fleur de lis has been embraced by various cultures and societies, each attributing their unique significance and value to it. From heraldic coats of arms to modern fashion and decor, its presence has been consistent, making it a symbol of continuity, elegance, and nobility.
By incorporating the fleur de lis into this tile, we aim to bring a touch of this historical elegance to your space. Whether it's your kitchen, bathroom, or outdoor area, let each tile serve as a reminder of the rich tapestry of history and artistry that has spanned cultures and cultures.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the tiles made of?
All my tiles are made of 100% real copper. It is not painted plastic or other copper-colored material that you can see from other manufacturers. I also offer tiles made of 100% brass and stainless steel.
What are the tiles covered with?
The tiles are covered with patina - a protective liner against corrosion and another side effects which metals are exposed to. In some cases, copper can turn green. This process is natural and it might be avoided by adding acrylic finish on the top of the metal. However, UV sun exposure will break down the finish after some time. This is why we don't recommend acrylic topping.
What is the average lead time?
All of my art pieces are handmade and custom, therefore the lead time may be 7 up to 17 days. In exceptional circumstances (i.e. very large, customized tile) the waiting time can be even longer. The customer will be informed about the extended lead time right away.
Can I order the tile (or tiles) in a custom size?
Yes, of course. Customers decide about the sizes of the tiles I make. Please contact me and specify which size would satisfy you.
Can you create custom-designed pieces?
Yes. My experience qualifies me to embody custom designs. I can make any pattern which my customer would like. Moreover, I can change/add a writing (for instance an important date, name or something sentimental, personal). Should you be interested in a custom-designed piece, please contact me directly so that we can discuss the details
